Kay is an East-African lady from Kenya currently living in Gothenburg Sweden. She has been dancing ever since she can remember; from high school competitions, starting a dance group right after high school, international events: world space Africa, dance workshops, school activities, which has given her a vast experience choreographing and performing in huge and dynamic events . Her choreography borrows a lot from African dance but is fused with styles such as jazz, funk, salsa and broadway.
While in Gothenburg, Kay has been teaching afro-funk dance style at ABF over the years. This has been more about the energy and joy that comes from dance and less of technique which in turn has become very popular and tasteful amongst the swedish community in Gothenburg. Kay has thus been offering group classes, after-school-activity dance classes, dance workshops at festivals and events, company morning exercise, interactive team building dance sessions as well as EPC organised dance classes. The combination of her pedagogic skills together with the natural dance talent within her, leaves you confident and wanting more!
